The Switch Bag was created by Paula Punch, of Design Edit Group.

As a womenswear fashion and accessories buyer with over 30 years experience in developing quality brands for quality Australian retailers. She saw a need to make handbags with more flexible use. She also recognised that women were wanting to customize their looks.  Using The Switch Bag system of Switching straps and adding tassels, women have  the opportunity to express their own style everyday- with just a click.

"So many times I would have liked to update my handbag to better co-ordinate with my outfit - but did not have the time to empty the contents of my bag and transfer to another bag. With The Switch Bag the contents just remain and it's the strap that changes!" -  Paula Punch.

So The Switch Bag concept was born, and Paula started to design a bag which she would like to wear herself. She loved the idea that The Switch Bag could also offer a long term handbag solution so women can invest in a more sustainable approach to shopping. After tracking down an amazing  local leather artisan who could make a superior quality handbag that would stand the test of time - The Switch Bag was ready - and now  "your new look is in the bag!"
